As a Spanish national basketball team member, Hernangomez won gold medals at the EuroBasket twice and at the FIBA World Cup.

Why is Spain good at Basketball? The coaches must all be certified by the Spanish Basketball Federation, which is very keen on skill and the players’ basic knowledge rather than relying on their talent.

This makes most of the players push their effort to join the team that has been known to be successful over the years.
