  • Chelsea has experienced one their worst seasons in the modern age era
  • The Premier League side is also having issues with players’ contracts and some might leave
  • Real Madrid is readying its bid for three Chelsea players including Mason Mount and Reece James

Real Madrid is ready to reshape their squad for the following seasons, with off-season investment planned and have spotted four Chelsea players they want to bring on board in the summer transfer window.

Los Blancos are expected to finish second in La Liga, trailing Barcelona by 11 points with nine games remaining.

The depth of the reigning European champions, who are in the quarter-finals this season, has been challenged at times this season.

Fichajes asserts Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has identified four Chelsea players as prospective targets: Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, and Mateo Kovacic.

The last three are all out of contract in 2024, which means Los Blancos may sign them for nothing if they do not re-sign.

Perez is planning to profit on Chelsea’s demise this season, with the club set to miss the Champions League next season.

Mount has drawn interest from numerous major teams due to his quality and contract position, while Kovacic previously spent three seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu.
