Following such a tumultuous week, Christophe Galtier needs a boost from his PSG players when they face Lens in a crucial Ligue 1 battle on Saturday.
On Friday, it was revealed that Galtier had filed legal action after being accused of making racist comments against players while coaching Nice.
Galtier, who rejects the claims, has faced calls to resign just over nine months after taking office.
The 56-year-old has expressed his appreciation for the support he has received as PSG prepares to face second-placed Lens on Saturday, with a win at Parc des Princes putting them nine points clear.

PSG needs focus to defeat Lens
On New Year’s Day, Lens defeated the champions 3-1 at home, thanks to goals from Przemyslaw Frankowski, Lois Openda, and Alexis Claude Maurice.
Les Sang et Or are unbeaten in three games against PSG, who won 2-0 at Nice last time out after suffering back-to-back home defeats to Rennes and Lyon.
Lens are the only team the Parisians have yet to defeat in Ligue 1 since the start of last season.
PSG will try not to lose three consecutive home matches in the French top flight for the first time since April 2021.
Lens on a bankroll
With four consecutive Ligue 1 victories, Lens will come to Parc des Princes on the crest of a wave, knowing they must maintain their strong form to be in contention for the title.
This season’s tally of 63 points from 30 games is their best in the competition to date.
This is Franck Haise’s team’s longest winning streak in Ligue 1 this season, and a double over PSG will have Galtier’s men worried.
Kylian Mbappe on the brink of making more history
If he scores this weekend, Kylian Mbappe will become PSG’s all-time leading Ligue 1 goalscorer.
With his next goal, the France forward will tie Edinson Cavani for the most goals scored by a Ligue 1 club in the twenty-first century.
PSG’s all-time leading scorer has not scored against Lens in three games, so now is the time for him to break that streak.

Lionel Messi continues to impress in Ligue 1 this season, with 14 goals and as many assists.
The Argentina captain could become the third player since Opta beginning records began (2006-07) to score at least 15 goals and contribute at least 15 assists in a Ligue 1 season, joining Eden Hazard in 2011-12 (20 and 16) and Mbappe in 2021-22 (28 and 17).
