- New Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has already started working on his team
- The former Chelsea boss is interested in bringing on board Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane
- In other news, Kalvin Phillips is ready to leave Manchester City in the summer transfer window
According to reports, new Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has informed the club’s board that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is his top goal in the upcoming transfer window.
Kane, 29, is just five goals away from passing Wayne Rooney for second place on the Premier League’s all-time scoring chart, having recently surpassed Rooney as England’s all-time leading scorer and Jimmy Greaves as Tottenham’s record holder.
With his personal legacy in England already secured, the obvious next step is for the striker to go somewhere where he can win some team silverware, which Bayern can provide.
While Tottenham will be desperate to keep their star, any indication that he will not ink a new contract will almost certainly compel the club to cash in on their star.

Tuchel “is a huge fan of Kane from his time in the Premier League managing Chelsea,” according to Football Insider, and he has communicated to the Bayern board that he should be the primary focus moving forward.
Despite the fact that Kane is nearing the end of his contract, Tottenham are expected to demand a price in the £100 million (113.8 million) range to part ways with their club icon, and it is highly unlikely that they will allow his contract to expire.
However, the report adds that Kane may be open to a contract extension if Tottenham can secure former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann as Antonio Conte’s successor.

90 MIN has reported that Kalvin Phillips, 27, of Manchester City, is preparing to quit the club amid concerns that his limited playing time will jeopardize his place in England’s squad, according to Football Insider.

Phillips has been an unused substitute in recent games against Newcastle and Crystal Palace, which have been much tighter.
According to Sport, all 29 MLS clubs have decided to split Lionel Messi’s salary and enable him to choose his preferred franchise.
