Aaron Wan Bissaka biography has it that he was born in England, which means he is of British nationality. However, he is of Congolese descent and has even made an appearance for DR Congo under-20s. He played for the team during the 8-0 friendly loss to the England under-17s in October 2015.
Despite the one appearance for DR Congo, Wan-Bissaka remained eligible to represent England. After impressing while playing for Crystal Palace, Wan-Bissaka received a call to play for the England under-20 team in March 2018. He played his first match against Poland, where he was sent off.
On September 6, 2018, Wan-Bissaka played for the England under-21 squad in a 0-0 draw against the Netherlands. He was part of England’s squad that played in the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He played in a match against France at the tournament and scored an own goal as his team lost 2-1.

Aaron Wan Bissaka has never made an appearance for the England national team because of the stiff competition from the likes of Reece James, Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold. However, he once received a call-up but never played due to an injury.
Wan-Bissaka has recently been expressing his desire to play for DR Congo. However, he is yet to make the decision despite the reports going around since 2022.

By improving, hopefully, that does not go unnoticed, and that will get me the chance, the same as it did with the team (Crystal Palace) now.” Aaron Wan-Bissaka said, as per Evening Standard.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka came through the ranks at Crystal Palace before making his first-team debut for the English club. He first began his career as a winger before switching to a right-back.
Wan-Bissaka made his first-team debut for Crystal Palace on February 25, 2018, when several players were injured. He played in the 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs.
The England international impressed and soon began making regular appearances for Crystal Palace. He won the club’s Player of the Month for three consecutive seasons; August, September and October. He was also named Player of the Month for March 2019.
Due to his amazing performance during the 2018-19 season, Wan-Bissaka was named the Crystal Palace Player of the Year. Manchester United was leading in the race to sign Wan-Bissaka in the summer of 2019, and they made an initial offer of 40 million euros.
However, Sky Sports reported that the talented right-back joined the Red Devils for 45 million euros plus five million euros in add-ons.
