All is not well in Paris Saint Germain dressing room as fellow Argentines and national teammates Lionel Messi and Mauro Icardi have reportedly been in a fight.
Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint Germain on a two-year contract in the summer transfer window and although he has not had a good start in the France top-flight league he has three goals in the UEFA Champions League.

His first goal for PSG came during their second match of the Champions League against England’s side Manchester City and also collected two goals in this week’s encounter with RB Leipzig. He is yet to score in Ligue 1.
With three goals in the UEFA Champions League one of the most prestigious competitions every player wishes to play, it is fair to say that Messi’s adaptability with a new environment has started bearing fruit and more is yet to come from the South American top scorer.
But with these still expected to come Lionel Messi is not seeing eye to eye with his fellow Argentinian Mauro Icardi which according to El Nacional the two have a tense relationship which in turn has started affecting the PSGs dressing room and wants Icardi to be sold out immediately.
Several publications report that Mauro Icardi blames Lionel Messi for his troubles saying that the Argentine Captain is the root cause to why he has not featured for the national team for three years.
His last appearance came in a friendly against Mexico in 2018.
Lionel Messi is spearheading talks to have Icardi sold out to Barcelona in a swap deal that will also see his friend and teammate Sergio Aguero join the Parisians according to reports.

Messi’s arrival at PSG is said to have changed the dynamic amongst the squad and there’s talk that Icardi, signed from Inter Milan, could be dispensed.
Sergio Aguero has only featured twice for Barcelona and scored a goal during their friendly match at home against UE Cornella in a closed-doors match after returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Aguero had also arrived at Camp Nou to fulfill his dream of playing with his fellow compatriot only things to turn upside down in the final hour.
Barcelona let Messi leave the Club after their inability to register him a new contract due to the financial problems that continue to haunt them to date.
Mauro Icardi after a public spat with his wife who also happens to be his agent threatened to leave PSG if his tribulations continued.
The couple now appears to have patched things up.
This is not the first time that the two players are fighting, in 2019 there were rumors of bad blood between them which Icardi rubbished saying that the two were getting along well.
The cause of these rumors emanated from Icardi’s marriage to Wanda Nara who was wife to Maxi Lopez.
Messi’s friendship with Lopez is well known, and it has often been speculated that the PSG star was in the past vetoed Icardi’s national team participation in anger at the supposed ‘slight’.
But Icardi himself moved to quash such speculation, insisting that there are no problems between Messi and himself.
