CAF appoint Abdelmounaïm Bah new acting general secretary - Sports Leo

The Confederation of African Football (Caf) on Tuesday appointed Abdelmounaïm Bah as its new acting general secretary.

This follows an emergency committee meeting held in Cairo, Egypt.

At the request of the Caf president Ahmad Ahmad, the emergency committee proceeded with the appointment in the wake of the resignation of Mouad Hajji, who stepped down from the position earlier on Tuesday.

Bah will also continue to serve as commercial director, a position he has occupied since June 2018.
