The Ghana Rugby Stakeholder Congress (GRSC) will be held on Saturday in Accra, Ghana.
Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) president Herbert Mensah said the sport in the country will face a number of challenges and will be discussed at the meeting.
The issues include: Increased and tougher participation in international Rugby Africa tournaments, Increasing in the number of domestic competitions and expansion of women’s rugby.
The youth development program – Get Into Rugby – will also be on the agenda.
There is also a need for more extensive training and education of coaches, match officials and medical officers.
All these challenges mean there will be greater demand for governance and administration.
