Comoros shock Togo in AFCON Cameroon 2021 qualifier - Sports Leo

Comoros are the surprise Group G log-leaders after their Total Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 qualifier 1-0 win over Togo 1-0 in Lome on Thursday.

The Indian Ocean Islanders are ranked a lowly 142 position on the FIFA table and were hardly fancied to pick up a point, never mind winning away from home.

Faiz Selemani scored six minutes after the break and Comoros held on for the remaining 41 minutes of the game to close out the win.

The victory will give them massive confidence ahead of Monday’s home match against Egypt.
