Ruben Amorim is a young and highly sought-after manager in the world of football, and is currently in London where he is meeting up with the West Ham owners. West ham was looking for a new manager as David Moyes contract is expiring, and Amorim could be a potential candidate for the task.

His first steps into management was with Casa Pia, a third-division team in Portugal but his career was short-lived due to disagreements with the Portuguese Football Federation regarding coaching qualifications.
This setback did not deter him and he soon landed a managerial role for Braga B, the reserve team of SC Braga where he impressed with his tactics and leadership, being promoted to the head coach of the Braga first team.
During his tenure with Braga, he culminated in winning the Taca da Liga and this made him earn a reputation as a rising star in the Portuguese football management. After two seasons with Braga, he sought a new challenge by embarking on a journey to Sporting CP.
His arrival at CP came at the right time since the club had been struggling for sometime. He implemented an attacking style of play and in his first season, he led them to their first Primeira Liga title in nineteen years along with the Taca da Liga, completing a domestic double.
