- Cole Palmer grabbed the ball and made a strike to score his fourth goal of the match between Everton and Chelsea making them the overall winners

Palmer secured a hat trick within a short time and later converted a penalty to score his fourth goal of the match as his team took over the win. This led to a heated exchange between him, Madueke and Nicolas over the penalty taking duties.

The conflict escalated when Madueke remained adamant that he was going to take the penalty, before captain Gallagher urged him to hand over the ball to Palmer. Despite the instructions, the forward did not comply and this forced Gallagher to retrieve the ball and handed it over to Palmer.
Chelsea’s manager Mauricio Pochettino was not happy about the act and considered it lack of discipline and focus and the team was already comfortable winning, and this argument overshadowed the victory, showing lack of concentration on the game.
