We’ve listed the best strikers in the Premier League right now.
Darwin Nunez – Liverpool

Darwin Nunez can be a frustrating player for Liverpool supporters to watch, but there is no denying the threat he presents to other teams in the Premier League. The Uruguayan’s tendency to occasionally commit careless finishing has earned him the nickname ‘Captain Chaos‘ at Anfield.
He is a center striker with some wastefulness, to be sure, but he also improves Liverpool as a club and produces strong numbers. With a bit more polish, the 24-year-old’s stats this season—12 goals and 11 assists—should have increased in all competitions. Three times more than the next-highest player in the Premier League, he has struck the woodwork nine times this season, including a record-breaking four times in one game against Chelsea.
Nunez is a mystery who is both extraordinary, rash, and raw. Although you wouldn’t bet your home on him winning one on one, his excellent mobility and unwavering perseverance create several opportunities for him. When he’s around, no defense in the division enjoys a lazy afternoon. Whatever you choose to make of it.
Ivan Toney – Brentford

Brentford’s chances of surviving have increased since Ivan Toney returned, as the talisman for the Bees made an immediate impression following an eight-month absence. Since his ban was lifted, the 27-year-old has netted three goals in four Premier League games, bringing his total since Brentford’s promotion to 35 in 70 games—the gold standard one-in-two ratio in the top level.
Toney’s main goal will be to close off the season well in west London, where a successful finish might earn him a spot in the England squad for the European Championship this summer. Toney is a fantastic outlet for Brentford’s direct style; he is excellent in the air and clinical around the box. Last season, Toney won more aerial duels than any other center-forward in the division.
Though he is much more than just a target man, he is also at dropping deeper, and when his contract expires in the summer, it seems likely that he will join one of the best clubs in the Premier League. Toney is capable of taking on another challenge since he has so far managed every level of his career with ease, from League One to the Premier League.
Alexander Isak – Newcastle

Maybe all that has kept Alexander Isak from ranking higher on this list are his annoying fitness issues. Over the past 18 months, the Swedish striker has occasionally been exceptional for Newcastle, making the £63 million club record sum that was required to purchase him from Real Sociedad justified.
Isak finishes with an almost unique combination of his big body, quick footwork in confined spaces, and sheer pace. There’s an admirable swagger to his finishing around the area. Isak’s assist in the victory over Everton last season served as an illustration of his skill; he threaded a path past the Toffees and squared for Jacob Murphy to score at the back post.
With 31 league starts under his belt for Newcastle, the 24-year-old has netted 20 goals or one per 135 minutes in the Premier League. In English football, that’s a greater return than Robin van Persie (140 minutes).
Isak can develop into a premier forward at St. James’ Park if he can overcome his injury problems.
Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa

This season, Ollie Watkins has reached a new level of performance, powering Aston Villa’s surprise drive for Champions League participation.
Under Unai Emery, Watkins—who has been a dependable center-forward for The Villans for a considerable amount of time—has developed into one of the division’s most comprehensive center-forward packages. The 28-year-old is a physical threat who, throughout the past 18 months, has improved his finishing. He combines unselfish work ethic with astute perception in the final third.
Erling Haaland – Manchester City
Erling Haaland is the best goal scorer in the Premier League, which sets him in a class of his own.
Haaland has joined a select group of football players whose outrageous stats are now considered the norm. Despite a league-leading 16 goals in 18 Premier League games, some have argued he has not yet quite reached the heights of last season.
In 53 games in the top division of England, he has already scored 52 goals. In the Champions League, he has averaged more than a goal every game (40 in 36).
