Manchester City could be without its players Jack Grealish and Bernado Silver this weekend when Chelsea is visiting. Grealish was forced off in Denmark after a muscle injury and so far there is no confirmation on the severity of the injury and it is not certain if Silva will be at the Etihad against Chelsea on Saturday.
Bernardo Silva suffered an ankle injury in Copenhagen and was replaced late and the team’s manager is hopeful that the injury has not gone to a big extent. Manchester City will face a blow as Josko Govardiol who will be away for three weeks due to an ankle ligament will not be part of the squad.
Despite the missing players, they are lucky that Mateo Kovacic who battled a knee injury will be back soon, hopefully to train ahead of the clash against his former club Chelsea. As a result of the injured players, Kevin De Bruyne is set to start as Phil Foden keeps his place, and Erkling Haaland is expected to lead the line.
This match is expected to happen at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 5.30 pm and Manchester City will be playing against their rivals Chelsea.

The player suffered an injury during Manchester City’s Champions League match against FC Copenhagen. He sustained a knock to his ankle in the second half of the game and remained on the pitch till the end of the match.
Jack Grealish
Jack Grealish is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder for Premier League Manchester City and the England national team. The winger suffered an injury during Manchester City’s Champions League match against FC Copenhagen, which is suggested to be a muscle injury probably in the groin area. He went down after a challenge in the 21st minute of the first half and attempted to continue playing after receiving treatment.
However, he was substituted later in the half. It is not certain if he will play during the weekend tournament.
