Bayern Munich displayed their resilience as they came from behind to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Copenhagen in a gripping Champions League clash at Parken Stadium. The match had its fair share of twists and turns, but Bayern Munich’s determination ultimately earned them a valuable win.
Copenhagen had the first noteworthy chance of the game, with Mohamed Elyounoussi testing Bayern’s goalkeeper, Sven Ulreich, from inside the penalty area.

Munich then asserted their dominance in terms of possession but were unable to capitalize on their early control. Elyounoussi had another opportunity for the home side, this time with a header, but it was comfortably gathered by Bayern’s goalkeeper.
It wasn’t until the half-hour mark that Bayern Munich came close to breaking the deadlock, with Joshua Kimmich unleashing a powerful shot from outside the penalty area that narrowly sailed over the crossbar.

However, it took until the 45th minute for Munich to register their first shot on target. Leroy Sane found space outside the box and fired a left-footed shot, which was comfortably saved by Copenhagen’s Kamil Grabara.
The visitors continued their pursuit of an opening goal early in the second half. Kimmich attempted another long-range effort but was denied by Grabara once again. Surprisingly, Copenhagen took the lead in the 55th minute. Viktor Claesson navigated past two defenders and had his initial goal-bound attempt blocked.
However, the rebound fell kindly to Lukas Lerager, who emphatically slotted the ball into the net from inside the penalty area.
Bayern Munich responded promptly to avoid defeat, nearly finding an equalizer just eight minutes later. Konrad Laimer’s header narrowly missed the target and grazed past the post.
The Bavarians leveled the score in spectacular fashion in the 67th minute, thanks to Jamal Musiala. The forward displayed great skill as he shifted the ball from left to right before unleashing a powerful shot from just outside the penalty area, which nestled into the bottom right corner.
Munich intensified their search for a winning goal, but Leroy Sane’s attempt from a tight angle failed to trouble Copenhagen’s goalkeeper. Copenhagen, too, was unwilling to settle for a draw and had an opportunity to regain the lead, but Elyounoussi’s shot narrowly missed the target.
With just seven minutes remaining on the clock, Bayern Munich turned the tide of the game, thanks to an excellent contribution from Thomas Muller. Muller created space for Mathys Tel, who blasted the ball into the net from 10 yards out, securing Bayern’s second consecutive victory in Group A of the Champions League.
