  • Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in history to reach 700 club goals on Sunday night at Goodison Park.
  • Antony, on the other hand, became the first Manchester United player to score in each of his first three Premier League games.

Cristiano Ronaldo reached 700 club goals on Sunday night after scoring against Everton.

The Manchester United star is the first player in history to score 700 goals for club.

Goodison Park did not look like the venue where Cristiano Ronaldo would set the record since he was not in the starting lineup.

However, the Portuguese international got the chance to score his 700th club goal after he replaced Anthony Martial in the 29th minute.

Anthony Martial had suffered an injury and could not continue with the game. The France international, however, assisted Manchester United’s first goal scored by Anthony.

Cristiano Ronaldo replaced Anthony Martial when the match was tied 1-1. Casemiro was at fault for Everton’s first goal, scored by Alex Iwobi.

However, the Brazilian midfielder redeemed himself a few minutes before the half-time break as he assisted Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal.
