Leos take on Masinde in Kenya Rugby Union Championship - Sports Leo

Leaders Strathmore Leos make the trip to Kakamega to face second-placed Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) in the Kenya Rugby Union Championship’s marquee fixture on Saturday.

Both sides sit atop the Championship standings, unbeaten in their six outings to date. Leos, however, have a healthy four-point gap over MMUST.

It will be the first match in charge for newly-appointed Leos coach Louis Kisia who joins the side from Stanbic Mwamba.

Other match days seven clashes in the second tier include the USIU Martials against Northern Suburbs in Roysambu, as Egerton Wasps host Mombasa in Njoro.

Kisii will be at home to Mean Machine at the Gusii Stadium.

Meanwhile, the University of Eldoret is tentatively set to host a double-header pitting Eldoret against South Coast Pirates in the early kickoff, before hosts UoE Trojans take on the Catholic Monks.
