His parents are Norbert Vettel and Heike Vettel. The siblings are Fabian Vettel, Stefanie Vettel who works as a physiotherapist for disabled children and Melanie Vettel a dental technician.
Besides his native German, Vettel speaks English, French and Italian.
His childhood idols were Michael Schumacher, Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson.
Vettel competes in Formula One for Aston Martin and has won four World Drivers’ Championship titles which were consecutive from 2010 to 2013.
He had previously driven for BMW Sauber, Toro Rosso, Red Bull and Ferrari. He is reportedly the youngest World Champion as of the year 2020 and has the third most race victories (53) and podium finishes (121) and the fourth most pole positions.
He started his Formula One career as a test driver for BMW Sauber in 2006 and he got his first win in 2008 in the Italian Grand Prix.
