One of the best defenders of all time is Sergio Ramos. He has earned that notoriety during his illustrious career by taking home the championship in each important matchup he played in for Real Madrid and his nation. Ramos is renowned for his leadership qualities, aerial threat, hard tackling, ability to score goals, and strong defense.

He will always be remembered by Real Madrid supporters for his last-second equalizer against Atletico in the 2014 Champions League Final, which they eventually won. Numerous awards, including a World Cup, two Euro Championships, and four Champions Leagues, have been won by him.

Xabi Alonso

Alonso was a very adaptable player with great skill and toughness. Few people are aware of how good Xabi was, never alone the many titles he has won, and this severely undervalues him. He shared trophies with Liverpool in the FA Community Shield, FA Cup, Uefa Super Cup, and Champions League.

With Real Madrid, he went on to win one championship in each of the CL, La Liga, Spanish Super Cup, and two Copa Del Reys. He moved to Bayern Munich, where he also won every national championship.
