His parents Felix Williams, a former footballer who played as a striker in several clubs in Ghana and Mari Arthuer, a housewife left their native land to go look for a better life in Spain and were blessed with two boys.
Inaki is the eldest and the youngest son is Nico Williams who is a winger, playing for Athletic Bilbao. The two are best of friends playing for one club and are very proud of their Ghanaian heritage.

William was playing youth football with local CD Pamplona when he was spotted by Athletic Bilbao who signed him for their youth setup at Lezama and he represented Spain at different youth levels.

He signed a contract with Athletic Bilbao at a fee of $55.7 million and his contract was renewed running until 2025 with an incremental buyer clause of around $89 million. His performance at the club has been so impressive and was named the La Liga Player of the Month.
Williams received his first international call-up for Spain in the Under21 squad, making his debut in a friendly win against Cartagena.
