Ondoa was born on December 24 1995 in Yaounde, Cameroon to his parents Ebogo Ondoa Thomas a businessman and his mother Marie-Claire who is a homemaker.
His parents have been so supportive of his football career, travelling all over the world to watch him play and have been there for him through thick and thin.
At an early age, he played street football and on discovering his talent, his parents took him to Samuel Eto’o Foundation, a football academy in Cameroon. He was then invited to join FC Barcelona, a youth academy for the club.
He progressed through the youth ranks at Barcelona making his debut for the reserve team and later to Sevilla Atletico on a permanent deal.
Ondoa has been a regular at Cameroon and was part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Fabrice is a devout Christian, married and has two children, a strong advocate for education and has spoken out about the importance of education for young people in his country.

Career
Ondoa’s career began when he joined FC Barcelona’s youth academy, progressed through the club’s youth system and was then promoted to the reserve side.
He then signed for Gimnastic de Tarragona on loan where he played 21 games in all the competitions.
On leaving Gimnàstic de Tarragona, he joined Atletico on a permanent deal, playing 30 games in all competitions during that season.
A year later, he was called up to the national team for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations helping the team win the tournament. Since then, he has been a regular for Cameroon and was part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The goalkeeper signed for KV Oostende on a permanent deal playing for the club 17 games in all competitions in the season. The following year, he was loaned to Istra on a six-month deal where he stayed for one and a half years before terminating his contract to join Auda.
