Actions by Colombian singer Shakira and Brazilian star Neymar at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona have forced the FIA to introduce new changes to the grid.
Neymar and some other guests were on the starting grid of the Spanish Grand Prix when the formation lap kicked off.
Shakira did the same in the Monaco Grand Prix which is a huge security concern that is not sitting well with F1A and F1.
Pre-race grid walks are spectacular now as more and more famous celebrities become keen to get onto the circuit before lights out.
Their presence on the grid forced F1 race cars to rev up their engines and exited at the starting line which is now becoming a common occurrence.
With these recent developments in Monaco and Barcelona, the FIA is considering making drastic changes to it all by reviewing who gets access to the pre-race grid.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem in a statement this week said the celebrity show on the pre-race grid of the Spanish Grand Prix is something raising concern.
Hitherto, guest celebrities, visitors, and the Fourth Estate can accompany team members on the track.
Restricted access seems the best cause of action to ensure grid safety that appears compromised by celebrities walking on the pre-race grid when laps begin.
Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of F1, acknowledged FIA’s action is in line with ensuring everyone on the grid is safe. Celebrities will still watch F1 and be prominent figures on the grid as a result, but their mobility will be more constrained.
“It is an issue not just in Formula 1 but also in Formula E and World Endurance Championship and other categories from my recent experiences with too many people on the grid at some events,” Domenicali told Motorsports.com
“I have no doubt that in all cases, the promoter will adhere to the FIA requirements on safety and security. It is the duty of the FIA to ensure a safe environment for all. Safety in motorsport is the Federation’s main priority.”
