3. Lionel Messi – 12 

Lionel Messi is the player with the most take-ons completed in the Ligue 1 this season. The Argentine international has recorded 12 successful take-ons since the start of the 2022-23 campaign.

Messi is one of the best players when it comes to dribbling past opponents. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker knows how to use body feints and close control of the ball to dribble past opponents.

We have seen him do it several times, and it’s not a surprise that he is among the players with the most take-ons completed at the start of this season. 

2. Suat Serdar – 12

1. Eberechi Eze – 14 

Eberechi Eze scored one goal and provided one assist in 13 Premier League games for Crystal Palace during the 2021-22 season.

However, he had a bright campaign and is proving to be worth every penny of the 20 million Crystal Palace spent on him in 2020. 

The Crystal Palace man is a threat to opponents due to his dribbling ability. He is the player with the most take-ons completed this season – 14. Eberechi Eze’s body movement and ability to hold the ball in tight spaces have made him a threat this campaign.
