Lewis Hamilton is widely considered one of the sport’s living legends. The British driver has seven Formula One World Championship titles, with 103 race victories and 182 podium finishes, the most in the sport.

However, this season has been difficult for the Formula One star as Mercedes tries to improve his car from time to time.

Hamilton is among the highest-paid athletes and the co-highest earner on the Formula One grid for 2022. Hamilton earns close to $55 million each season for racing with Mercedes, exclusive of bonuses and endorsements.

His net worth is approximately $285 million, so It’s safe to say he lives a rather lavish lifestyle.

Let us take a tour of Hamilton’s luxurious houses.

Lewis has a solid connection to America, particularly the east coast, where he owns two properties in New York.

In 2019, he spent $40 million on a Manhattan penthouse in a condo development co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady and his model wife, Gisele Bundchen.

His 6,547-square-foot home features a fitness centre, fitness centre, squash court, wine cellar, library, and views of the Hudson River.

Neighbours include Austin Powers star Mike Myers and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. 

He also listed his three-story, 8,900-square-foot penthouse with its swimming pool around the same time.

Hamilton paid $42.5 million for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom Tribeca apartment in 2017, but he never lived in it. It is unknown whether he sold it or not.

This is what $22.4 million gets you in the capital of England.

Hamilton purchased this one-of-a-kind six-bedroom isolated villa in West London from original owners Burberry chief designer Christopher Bailey and his husband, actor Simon Woods, in 2017.

The stunning home features a plentiful entertaining space that opens into a 200-foot garden with a spectacular summer house.

It was built in 1860 by the well-known builder Samuel Johns.

There are also four reception rooms and two enormous bathrooms.

Again, it is unknown how much time Lewis spends in the house.

Although little is known about this property, he once shared a photo of his breathtaking view.

He captioned a photo on Instagram, “A place I call home, Monte Carlo.” I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in such a fantastic location. Today, God is shining down on me.

Where does Hamilton Live?

Like several other Formula One drivers, Lewis Hamilton relocated to Monaco in 2010. Due to the lack of taxes, the Mediterranean principality has been home to many drivers.

Hamilton reportedly owns a £10 million mansion. Some MPs have chastised Hamilton for evading UK taxes by living outside the country.

Mika Hakkinen, Gerhard Berger, Daniil Kvyat, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nico Rosberg, Riccardo Patrese, and David Coulthard are the Formula One drivers who can’t get enough of the French Riviera.

Max Verstappen has lived in Monte Carlo since 2015 when he is not travelling to race with F1. The F1 World Champion is frequently seen working out in and around Monaco.

Daniel Ricciardo spends most of the year in Monte Carlo, supposedly in the same building as Max Verstappen.

Norris moved to Monaco last year, following in the footsteps of McLaren teammate Daniel Ricciardo. Lando, born in Bristol, UK, made the shift after the 2021 F1 season ended, and while he doesn’t spend much time there, it is still his home.

 Charles Leclerc was born in Monaco and has spent his entire life there. Leclerc lives in a luxury apartment with his partner Charlotte Sine.

 Valterri Bottas also has his own home in Monaco, where he spends a lot of time. The Finnish driver supposedly lives in the city with Australian professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell and has a balcony overlooking the harbour.

George Russell has previously hinted at relocating to Monaco. He does, however, want to focus all of his efforts on 2022 before making the shift.
