Banyana coach Ellis confident ahead of Botswana second-leg Olympic qualifier - Sports Leo

Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis is confident her side will overcome Botswana in the second-leg second round Olympic qualifier at Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday (starts at 7 pm).

South Africa and Botswana played to a goalless draw in the first leg in Gaborone last week.

“Several factors contributed to the result in the first-leg, but I believe we have what it takes to emerge victorious in the return fixture at home,” said Ellis.

The winners of the tie will face Zambia in the third round of the qualifiers.
