The Spanish international could finally make his Paris Saint-Germain debut on Saturday against Nantes, more than four months after arriving from Real Madrid.
Ramos was one of a number of high-profile summer captures for PSG on a free transfer, joining Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Lionel Messi in signing for the Ligue 1 club.
According to L’Equipe, however, he could be in line to feature in the forthcoming Ligue 1 clash with Nantes.
The Real Madrid icon, though, has been unable to feature for PSG because of a succession of niggles that have seen his debut constantly postponed with reports suggesting of his retirement.

Ramos has spent much of his time since arriving at PSG where he reportedly earns $1,1m per month in individual training. However, he has been working with the squad since the start of last week and is reportedly getting stronger and stronger.
unlike Messi, Hakimi, and even Wijnaldum, Ramos has yet to make his debut for the club due to a knee injury that had ruled him out for much of last season. To date, Ramos has only played three games in all of 2021
Indeed, the player’s entourage is said to be so encouraged by the progress he has made that he could feature at the weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino, the PSG head coach, is known to be cautious about his players when it comes to fitness, and for that reason, Ramos may need to wait for the midweek Champions League trip to Manchester City or even the clash against Saint-Etienne next weekend before making the matchday squad.

PSG is set to have a strong panel available to feature against Nantes, with Lionel Messi back in action after missing a couple of matches prior to the international break. The Argentina international star will be on the hunt for his first Ligue 1 goal.
Neymar, however, is set to miss out due to a thigh problem sustained on international duty, while Rafinha and Julian Draxler are likely sidelined.
While Ramos is certainly no spring chicken at the age of 35, the senior defender should still be young enough to play at the top level.
However, injuries over the last couple of years do suggest that he may have been a risky signing by PSG.
Last season the central defender missed no less than 32 games for Madrid because of a number of separate injuries.
Despite that, Ramos’ injury record prior to that notably poor season was perfectly solid, with just nine games missed through injury over the course of the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.
