Luc Mbah a Moute is a former Cameroonian basketball player who had a successful 12-year NBA career, having played for several teams and is known for his strong defence and hustle.

He played college basketball at UCLA where he was a key contributor to their success and also made it to the three straight Final Fours. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2008 NBA draft with the 37th overall pick and played for them for five seasons.

After leaving the Bucks, he signed with the Sacramento Kings on a brief stint and was traded there as part of a larger deal but only played a handful of games before being traded again to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With the Wolves, he found a more consistent role before joining the Philadelphia 76ers where he played alongside Joel Embiid for one season. He found a great fit with the Los Angeles Clippers known for their tough defense. He thrived alongside other strong defenders and even made it to the playoffs a couple of times.

The player then had two separate stints with the Houston Rockets. First, it was a brief run but in his second stint, he played a role on a team with James Harden and Chris Paul that made a deep playoff run.

He retired in 2020 after a 12-year career and transitioned into a new role within the NBA world. He is currently a player agent for Creative Artists Agency, using his experience and knowledge of the League to help the next generation of young basketball players navigate their careers.
