His journey into his profession began in his country, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and he had a Christmas tournament that became a turning point. In the match, he was the youngest player and emerged as the top scorer, a performance that led him to join a local amateur club, Boca Barco.
His performance at Barco made Atlanta scouts spot him and at 13 years old, he joined the Italian club’s youth system, offering him access to top-notch training facilities and coaching. He thrived in the academy, helping the team win two Campionato Primavera 1 titles in Italy’s U19 league.
In the following season, he made a senior debut for Atlanta, scoring a goal and this achievement made him the first player born in 2002 to score in Serie A.
