Kylian Mbappe signs a five-year deal with Real Madrid
He is set to take a significant pay cut to complete a move to Real Madrid
Real Madrid will pay him a signing-on fee of $107 million
Kylian Mbappe has already signed his five-year contract with Real Madrid, a move that has seen him end his seven-year career with Paris Saint-Germain. In his last meeting with his former club, he notified them about his exit and requested them not to serve him with a contract renewal.
His reason for the request is based on the fact that he has already signed with Real Madrid. The club also agreed to lower image rights conditions in that it was essential to close the seal so that the player’s salary does not blow up the salary table of the white club.
His salary at the club will be higher but not too far from the highest-paid players in the squad. This move has been years in the making, with Real Madrid pursuing Mbappe since he joined PSG in 2017.
The decision came as a priority of the sporting aspect and playing for his dream team Real Madrid over a potentially higher salary offer from PSG. His arrival is seen as a major coup for Real Madrid, strengthening their attack with one of the most exciting young talents.
Kylian Mbappe Lottin is a professional footballer who was born on December 20 1998 in Bondy, Paris. His father was a coach while his mother is a former handball player and we can say that he was surrounded by sport from an early age.

Internationally, he has represented France at different levels. At 19 years old, he was the youngest French Player ever to score in a World Cup final, and won at Golden Boot Award as the top scorer at tr 2022 World Cup by scoring four goals in the World Cup finals.
His leadership skills were recognized when still young and is the current captain of the French national team where he continues to lead them with his vision. He recently signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid.
Why did Mbappe Leave PSG?
After playing for PSG for seven seasons, he felt it was time to seek a new challenge, especially with a club he had always wished to play for. Perhaps he wasn’t entirely convinced by PSG’s long-term sporting project as they have not secured the coveted Champions League trophy and he desired to play for a team with a genuine chance to win it.
What to Expect From Mbappe at Real Madrid
With his explosive talent, he shows no signs of slowing down and as he enters his prime, the world eagerly awaits his next chapter, be it further Champions League glory with Real Madrid or even more World Cup magic with France.

Real Madrid boasts a dynamic attack with Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, with his arrival, they could create a devastating attack trio. The club’s Champions League obsession is well known and his experience and anticipation for trophies could be the missing piece in their quest for European dominance.
Mbappe thrives in counter-attacking systems that utilize his speed and Real Madrid, often applies such tactics potentially leading to a smoother adaptation for him, helping them propel back to the top of the table, especially with their recent signings like Bellingham.
