Salomon Asumu Obama Ondo is an Equatorial Guinean professional footballer who plays as a forward for UE Santa Coloma and the Equatorial Guinea national team. He was born in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea and then the family moved to Spain when he was still young.
He grew up in Torrejon de Ardoz near Madrid where his interest in football blossomed and was enrolled at the Atletico Madrid academy when he was eight years old, a crucial moment when he got to develop his skills.
He trained with the academy for quite some time where he progressed through at varying paces and signed his first professional contract with Celta de Vigo at the age of nineteen years. His limited playing time at the club saw him on a loan stint.
