Does Aryna Sabalenka want kids? The Belarusian tennis player has finally answered this question.

She is only 25 years old and has been through hard times in WTA Tour since the Ukrainian-Russian war. Belarus aided Russia in invading Ukraine for a while, some tennis player treated her indifferently in the locker room.

In fact, Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko never shakes her hand as is tradition between tennis players during matches. With this nasty experience from people who she has been on tour with, many wondered if she is ready to start a family.

While she is not sure when she will have kids, she is certain that she wants to become a mother one day even no matter how long it takes.

The 25-year-old world No. 2 tennis star told a tennis fan in a live Q&A session with her fans that motherhood is also on her bucket list just as winning more titles is.

“Yes I do. Maybe in five years, or 10, or maybe in three. I’ll let universe decide this,” Sabalenka responded to a fan who asked her about her willingness to have a child.

Who is Aryna Sabalenka Dating?

The Belarusian star is currently dating 42-year-old retired hockey star Kostanin Kolstsov who is a father of three kids. Kolstsov is a Belarusian too and Sabalenka has only positive things to say about their relationship.

She loves the bond between her and her boyfriend’s kids and she has publicly stated as much.  The 2024 Australian Open winner gushes on her socials and how enjoyable it is to spend time with her ‘step-children’.

At 23, she stunned her fanbase when she confessed that her dream was to become the best stepmother to Kolstov’s kids.

Her resilience in making this relationship work and overcoming challenges associated with her tennis career are among the reasons she feels so proud of herself.

A fan asked her in this regard; “What’s something your younger self would be proud of today?”. She responded that: “That I didn’t quit on my dream during a rough time.”

Sabalenka’s career seemed to be in decline in 2022 when she had problems with her serve, which hurt her performance.

However, she persevered through difficult and trying times, working hard to improve her game. Then, at the beginning of the 2023 season, she won the Australian Open, her maiden Grand Slam title, and in September, she also made history by being the first player to rank #1 in the world.

Sabalenka had a successful start to the 2024 season as well, having successfully defended her Australian Open title and now owning two Grand Slams.  She is a tennis favourite to win this Grand Slam.

When Badosa and Sabalenka reunited at the 2023 Indian Wells Open (BNP Paribas), many were perplexed by their show of devotion.

The tennis pair had a drill at the Indian Wells and every moment the two shared during practice was documented by WTA resident photographer Jimmie48.

Sabalenka reacted to this photo saying that love was definitely in the air which prompted Jimmie8 to post another suggestive photo of them touching each other’s behind.

Meanwhile, having secured back-to-back Australian Open titles, Sabalenka is undoubtedly aiming to become a consistent Grand Slam champion.

Her recent comments highlight her desire to “go for the next one,” indicating a focus on claiming more Grand Slam victories throughout the year.

She has established herself as a force on hard courts, particularly in Australia and now her goal is shifting to conquering other surfaces like clay and grass courts
