Steve Farid Yago is a professional footballer who plays for Cypriot First Division club Limassol and the Burkina Faso national team and has represented them in four Africa Cup of Nations including the 2024 AFCON and was also part of the squad that reached the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final.
He was born in France and began playing with local clubs in France before joining the Troyes academy. He spent four seasons training with the academy, eventually making his professional debut with Troyes in Ligue 2, where he established himself as a reliable defender.
The defender played for Toulouse for two seasons and then joined Ligue 2 club Valenciennes, played for two seasons and then left for Cypriot First Division club Aris Limassol where he currently plays and is a key player for the club.
