Issa Kabore is a young Burkinabe footballer who is fast-rising in the world of professional football. Born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, his journey began with a passion for the game and played within the streets and local clubs before he signed his first professional contract with Belgian club KV Mechelen.

Joining the Mechelen was the beginning of his success in the world of professional football and here, he proved himself to be vital in any club he played for. He gave his best and his performance with the club caught the eye of English giants Manchester City. He signed a contract with Man City though he remained on loan at Mechelen for the rest of the season.

In the following years, the player was on loan spells as he spent a season at Troyes in France’s Ligue1 where he gained experience in a new league and adapted to a different play style. In the next season, he was loaned out to French club Olympique de Marseille where he sharpened his skills on playing alongside established players.

Internationally, he is an important part of the Burkina Faso National team where he made his debut at the age of 19. His contributions to the team were instrumental to the semifinals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and was named the team’s best Young Player in the tournament.

Early and Personal Life of Issa Kabore

The player was born on May 12 2001 in Bobo, Dioulasso, Burkina Faso where he started playing football in the streets, and then to the local clubs, joining Rahimo FC, a local football academy in his home country.

Given his early involvement with Rahimo FC, a local academy in Burkina  Faso, it is likely that the player prioritized football training and development throughout his teenage years as most academies provide general education alongside football training. It is also possible that he enrolled in online courses or part-time studies as most footballers do.
