Bartholomew Ogbeche is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Nigeria national team. He was born in Nigeria but the family moved to France when he was still young where he realized his football talent and joined the youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain since he could not find an opportunity to join their first team, he was on loan spells with various clubs. However, he found a place at the Spanish club Cadiz where he scored prolifically in his first season, helping the club earn a promotion to La Liga.

He played for some seasons for the Spanish club before it was relegated to the second division before he moved to Greece to play for Kavala for three seasons and then a short stint with Middlesbrough in England. The player then moved to India where he joined NorthEast FC in the Indian Super League quickly becoming a prolific goal scorer. The following year, he moved to Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC the following year, playing a key role in their ISL championship win that season.

A year later, Ogbeche signed for Hyderabad FC where he has been a star player he became the ISL’s all-time top scorer and was very instrumental in the club’s historic championship win in 2022. The player represented Nigeria at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.
