Draymond Green is the latest controversy in the NBA following his indefinite suspension by Golden State Warriors.
The American basketball player is in for the hardest phase in his NBA career now with the indefinite suspension by the Warriors.
WHY IS DRAYMOND GREEN SUSPENDED?
Draymond Green who plays for the Warriors as a forward is indefinitely suspended following an incident where he struck Jusuf Nurkić of Phoenix Suns. Greens struck Nurkić in the face on December 12 at Footprint Center.
There were only eight minutes, 23 seconds left to the end of the game when the incident happened. It was the third quarter of the Warriors’ 119-116 loss to the Suns and Green was dismissed after committing a Flagrant Foul 2.
Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations announced Green’s indefinite suspension on Thursday. He said that Green has a history of consistently acting in an unsportsmanlike manner.
His suspension came without notice and he is now required to fulfill specific league and team requirements before getting back to the floor.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY?
An indefinite suspension in the NBA by a club or the league means that you are in the dark about your fate as in the case of Draymond Green. He does not know when he will play again for the Warriors who meted out the suspension following his strike in the face of Suns’ player on Tuesday. Financially, he will feel the weight of the suspension since the Warriors won’t pay him until the time it fully conducts investigations and gives its position.

Barely four weeks ago, Green got a five-game suspension following a heated altercation with Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The NBA handed him a five-game suspension and his return got fans thinking he was a changed man until he struck Nurkic.
