Career
Christian Cage enjoyed playing ice hockey and watching wrestling while growing up. In September 2014, he joined a wrestling academy, Sully’s Gym, run by former Canadian wrestler Ron Hutchinson.
In June 1995, Christian made his pro wrestling debut competing in independent matches in Canada, either in single or tag team matches with Edge. During that same period, he also wrestled in Japan and the United States together with Edge using ring names The Suicide Blondes and High Impact. The duo held numerous titles competing on the independent circuit.
In 1998, Christian Cage began touring with WWF and made his television debut as a heel distracting Edge in a match against Owen Hart. In his debut match against Taka Michinoku, Christian won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. He held the title for one month before losing it.
Christian and Edge then formed a tag team which became famous for participating in Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches. The duo went on to win seven World Tag Team Championships and played a big role in reviving tag team wrestling in the Attitude Era.

After the two parted ways in 2001, Christian held numerous titles such as European, Hardcore and Intercontinental Championships in WWE. He left Vince McMahon’s promotion in 2005 and signed with TNA (now known as Impact Wrestling).
Christian rejoined WWE in 2009 and won several titles, including the World Heavyweight Championship, before joining AEW. The Canadian wrestler has won a total of 24 championships in WWE, Impact Wrestling and AEW.
