He was then sent on loan to FC Grenchen and after four seasons of playing for the club, he moved on another loan to  MSV Duisburg in Germany. A few months later, he joined Stevenage on loan for the rest of the season before moving to French club LB Chateauroux on a free transfer. He then left for Scottish Premiership club Dundee on a free transfer and then to Doncaster Rovers.
