WHAT’S THE LED TO THE PURCHASE OF GOR MAHIA NEW BUS?

Charlton Auctioneers auctioned Gor Mahia’s previous bus in March 2023. The sale, advertised as “as is where is,” marked the resolution of a prolonged dispute with former player Wellington Ochieng, who sought Sh1.3 million overdue salary and allowances. Ochieng’s successful case resulted in the bus being auctioned to settle his claims.

Losing the bus posed a considerable challenge for Gor Mahia, leaving the club without reliable transportation for players and staff. The absence of the bus forced the club into hasty alternative arrangements, causing delays and disruptions to training and match schedules. Most players resorted to using public transport to move around which they termed inconveniencing.
