The goalkeeper is the cornerstone of a team’s defensive strategy and settling on the right one is not as easy as it sounds. From Thibaut Courtois to Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel, here are the top ten best goalkeepers on EA Sports FC 24. Expect clean sheets galore if you sign any of these keepers to your Career Mode or Ultimate Team.
1. Thibaut Courtois – OVR 90
In the number one spot is the towering guardian of Real Madrid Thibaut Courtois, who has an overall rating of 90. Courtois, who was also top of the goalkeeping list in FIFA 23, did more than enough last season to maintain his spot. The Belgian shot-stopper was named in the official UEFA Champions League Team of the Season after posting an impressive 79% save percentage in ten games.
2. Marc-Andre ter Stegen – OVR 89
Marc-Andre ter Stegen joins the list tied in second place with an overall rating of 89. The Germany international is Barcelona’s number one shot-stopper and played a crucial role as the Catalans won the La Liga title last season. He is a fantastic option to build your foundations.

3. Alisson Becker – OVR 89
Becker is not only one of the best goalkeepers in EA 24 but also one of the highest rated players in the overall game. The Brazil international has been at the top of his game for several years now and currently has a rating of 89. He is only 30 which means he has a good amount of years left in him and could see his rating increase.
4. Jan Oblak – OVR 88
Jan Oblak has been at the top of his game for several years now. With an overall rating of 88, he is one of the best keepers in EA 24 and a perfect choice to add to your Career Mode.
5. Ederson – OVR 88
With an overall rating of 88, Ederson is one of the best goalkeepers in EA Sports FC 24. The Brazilian talent played a significant role as Manchester City became treble winners last season. Some of his strengths include passing and diving, which make him a great purchase.
6. Christiane Endler – OVR 88
Christiane Endler is the only female shot-stopper to appear on our list of the best goalkeepers in EA FC 24. The 32-year-old Chilean plays for Olympique Lyon Feminin and has been at the top of her game for several years. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female goalkeepers of all time.
7. Mike Maignan – OVR 87

Mike Maignan is the only Serie A shot-stopper on our list of the best goalkeepers in EA Sports FC 24. The Frenchman plays for AC Milan and has been a key member of the team for the past few years. His overall rating in the new EA FC 24 is 87.
8. Gregor Kobel – OVR 87
Swiss international Gregor Kobel has been a saviour between the sticks for Borussia Dortmund for quite some time. His heroics last season almost won the German side their first Bundesliga title since the Jurgen Klopp era. As a result, he has been awarded with a 87 card.
9. Gianluigi Donnarumma – OVR 87
Gianluigi Donnarumma is arguably one of the best young goalkeepers in the world. The 24-year-old Italian plays in the French league for Paris Saint-Germain. With an overall rating of 87, Donnarumma is one of the keepers you need to have in your Career Mode team or Ultimate Team.
10. Manuel Neuer – OVR 87
Manuel Neuer usually finds his name atop the goalkeeper rating list, but things have been slightly different for him in EA Sports FC 24. The German’s overall rating has dropped from 90 to 87 and this could be due to the fact that he only played 12 matches last season because of a skiing accident that left him out of action for a majority of the season. Neuer is also aging and as we all know EA Sports has been harsh on aging players in the past.
