Several things make the player stand out from the crowd. First of all, his goalscoring record is top-notch. He is one of the few players to have won the top scorer award in two different European leagues.

Bony is a versatile forward and can play in a variety of positions including a central striker, second striker or wide forward.

The striker also happens to be one of the few African players to have won a major European trophy Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 and has scored over 200 goals in his career.

Personal Life

Bony was born on December 10 1988 in Vere, Ivory Coast in a poor family and his father passed away when he was only ten years old.

His mother worked so hard to see her children get their basic needs. The striker started playing at a very young age and joined the youth academy of a local club known as Issia Wazi where he made his debut for the first team.
