In high school, he was a soccer player but later switched to basketball making him one of the top players in his age group and represented Australia at the junior level.

The player then moved to the United States to play college basketball and joined Lee College in Baytown, Texas for two seasons before transferring to LSU.

After graduating from LSU, he went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft and then signed with the Utah Jazz where he spent one season with their g League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.

Career

Duop Reath’s career began when he moved to the United States to play college basketball at Lee College in Bayton, Texas.

He played for two seasons for the Runnin’ Rebels and was named to the All-Conference First Team. before transferring to LSU where he played for two more seasons.

In his senior year at LSU, he was named to the All-SEC second team and was a finalist for the Karl Malone Award.

Reath went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft and signed with the Utah Jazz G League affiliate, the Salt City Stars.
