Career
Vijay Singh fell in love with golf at a very young age. Since his father couldn’t afford golf balls, Singh played with golf balls made out of coconuts. Many details aren’t available bout his amateur career. Apart from golf, he also had a passion for football, snooker, rugby and cricket.
Vijay Singh tuned professional in 1982 and won the Malaysia PGA Championship two years later. However, his career took a different turn as he was banned for life from the Asia Golf Circuit after allegedly doctoring his scorecard.
