Vickie Guerrero made her wrestling debut in 2005 as a face during the feud between her husband Eddie and Rey Mysterio. She was brought into the feud only to fuel the fire and made several appearances.
In 2006, several months after the death of Eddie Guerrero, Vickie began making more appearances prominently in controversial storylines. She first asserted herself during the feud between Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero, acting as a peacemaker.
