The player was married to Sharon Dee, a gospel singer and they had two children. However, the couple divorced on allegations of Ndlovu’s infidelity.

Peter Ndlovu has had a successful football career both as a player and as a coach.

In England, the striker joined club Coventry where he stayed for six seasons helping them reach the FA Cup and was named the PFA Young Player of the Year.

The striker moved to Birmingham City for a fee of $5 million where he spent three seasons and to Huddersfield Town.

His performance was extremely wanting and the clubs around were all interested in him. From Huddersfield, Ndlovu moved to Sheffield United for two seasons and later returned to South Africa to play for Mamelodi Sundowns.

On leaving South Africa, he came back to Africa where he played for several clubs and it was not long before his retirement.

Since his retirement, Ndlovu has worked as a coach and was recently the team manager at the Mamelodi Sundowns.
