Ndlovu then left for South Africa as a player for Mamelodi Sundowns. He retired from playing football in 2011 and has since been a coach and a team manager.

The player was married to Sharon Dee, a gospel singer and they had two children. However, the couple divorced on allegations of Ndlovu’s infidelity.
