The family emigrated from Zimbabwe shortly before Jordan was born and he has two younger brothers, Hunter and Jesse. He grew up on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent and attended the Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey for secondary school.

The player started playing football at a tender age and joined the Queens Park Rangers Academy at the age of six years where he spent three years before moving to Charlton Athletic.

At Charlton Athletic, he spent eight years in the youth set-up and was soon signed by Bournemouth on a free transfer quickly establishing himself as a regular in the first team.

Zemura is a quick athletic left-back who is good at getting forward and creating chances for his teammates.

He has dual citizenship and represented Zimbabwe at the international level and was part of the Zimbabwe national team that participated in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Career

At a young age, Zemura’s father who was a football player playing for the Zimbabwe national team always took him for training and matches.

His career began at the age of six years when he joined the Queens Park Rangers Academy where he spent three years before moving to Charlton Athletic where he spent eight years in the youth set-up.

After eight years at Charlton, the player was released and was quickly signed by Bournemouth on a free transfer.

On joining the club, he quickly established himself as a regular in the first team. In his first season at the club, he made 24 appearances and scored one goal. In the next season, he made almost double appearances with double goals in all competitions.

Zemura is a quick and athletic left-back who is also good at getting forward and creating chances for his teammates. He was named Bournemouth’s Player of the Month and was shortlisted for the EFL Championship Young Player of the Year award the following year.

A year later, the player signed a four-year contract with Udinese on a free transfer, making his debut against Juventus.
