Arturo Vidal spent his youth career playing for Rodelindo Roman, Melipilla and Colo-Colo. He made his professional debut for Colo-Colo in 2006 in the first leg of the Torneo Apertura final against Universidad de Chile. His impressive performance with Colo-Colo caught the attention of several top European clubs.
