In 2021, Ebuehi joined newly promoted Serie A side Venezia on loan, making 19 appearances in the league with one goal. The following year, he signed a permanent contract with Empoli.

He represents the Nigeria national team at the international level and made his senior debut a few years ago, being part of the Nigeria squad that won the 2018 African Nations Championship.

He was also part of the squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
