Despite facing rejections on multiple bids, United has finally reached an agreement with Chelsea, which involves an initial payment of £55 million for the English midfielder, along with an additional £5 million in add-ons.

The process is expected to proceed rapidly from this point. Mount has already agreed to personal terms, and once he completes a medical examination, he will sign a five-year contract with the club.

Mount’s arrival will add creativity and goal-scoring prowess to United’s midfield, which already boasts players like Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen. Even Casemiro contributed with several goals in the previous season.
