The much-awaited football break is here with us and there is a lot that is happening, one of it being David de Gea wedding to his longtime fiancée Edurne Garcia.
This wedding follows the expiration of his current £375,000 contract with Manchester United.
Rumour has it that they booked an abandoned quarry close to the Minorcan port town of Ciutadella for a weekend-long bash. However, there isn’t more information about the couple’s big day yet.

Edurne is a well-known figure in Spain where she has lived all her life. Nevertheless, she flew to Manchester often to watch matches at Old Trafford. De Gea was seven months away from joining Man United for a British custodian transfer record of about £18 million at the time the couple first met.
Edurne established her reputation as a pop vocalist by releasing four albums after winning the Spanish version of Pop Idol five years earlier. When their daughter was born in March 2021, she referred to her spouse as “the world’s best father.”
The child’s name, which means “My Beloved” in Quechua, is translated into English as “My Beloved.”

Mateo Mejia, a young striker, and Tom Huddlestone, a player-coach for United’s Under-21 team, are both on the club’s list of players to be kept.
