Career
Xavier Woods began training for a career in professional wrestling during his days at Furman University. In 2005, he began wrestling part-time with Ultimate Christian Wrestling Promotion. He had a stint with the World Wrestling Council in South Carolina, where he developed his popular gimmick ‘Austin Creed’.
In 2006, Xavier joined the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and partnered with Hayden Young to form the tag team Awesome Attraction. The following year, Xavier won his first title when Awesome Attraction defeated Justice Served to win the Tag Team Championship.

Xavier Woods later wrestled for Deep South Wrestling (DSW), where he also achieved success and continued to gain fame across America. He was the first DSW Heavyweight Championship. That same year, 2007, he moved to TNA and formed a tag team with R-Truth known as Truth and Consequences.
Xavier had a short stint in New Japan Wrestling, where he formed a tag team with Kota Ibushi. He was the winner of the Super 8 Tournament organized in 2010 by the East Coast Wrestling Association.
In 2010, Xavier joined WWE and was subsequently assigned to their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). He made his WWE debut in Raw in November 2013, teaming up with R-Truth. In July 2014, he formed The New Day with Kofi Kingston and Big E.
The New Day has since become one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history. Xavier Woods is an overall 12-time tag team champion in WWE.
